If you are looking for a memorable way to celebrate a special occasion with friends and family, an event to bring business teams or church groups together, or a way to relax and experience that old-time Florida atmosphere, this Group Adventure might be for you!
Kayaking is an eco-friendly way to immerse yourself in the beauty and wonder of nature, and Dale Wimbrow Park provides a shaded pavilion, a playground, and a launch ramp into the St. Sebastian River's gentle current. Paddling here is easy, going downstream toward the Indian River or upstream on the St. Sebastian. Exploring nature along this beautiful waterway with manatees, turtles, an abundance of birds, and other wildlife is an experience that is both calming and invigorating, creating memories that will last a lifetime.
Combining time on the river with all that the park has to offer can be a wonderful way to celebrate a birthday—or any day.
Our location has ample parking directly across Roseland Road from Dale Wimbrow Park. We will have all the kayaks, paddles, required life vests, and extras (please see the Event listings and Options) ready at the park and, after a brief tutorial on kayaking, you'll be ready for hours of fun! The park's pavilion will be reserved for your group, offering a shaded area with a picnic table to relax and enjoy time together—and perhaps serve refreshments and a picnic lunch.
We have been honored to host veterans groups and wedding parties, and we love having guests return, again and again.
Naturally, all customized events must be arranged far enough in advance to accommodate your preferred date, time, and special requests (Options).
Basic Self-Guided Tours and Large Groups
After checking in and leaving your car at the office, you will be transported to your choice of three launch sites, depending on how long a trip you'd like to take. Our standard routes take approximately two and three hours. The last launch of the day is at 2:00 pm. The river bends through thick vegetation comprised of subtropical plants, mangroves, oaks, cypress, and palms. The flow rate is typically slow and the river is protected from the wind, so the paddling is typically very easy, even for a beginner.
Along the way you're likely to see lots of wildlife, including many species of water fowl and birds-of-prey including Osprey, Sandhill Cranes, Herons, Egrets, Vultures, and Bald Eagles. Turtles, alligators, and wild boar may be seen sunning themselves. Otters, Raccoons, an occasional Bobcat, and of course, Manatees are seen at different times of year.
When you reach Riverside Church, please call us at (772) 589-3469 from your cell phone. We will be at Dale Wimbrow Park to meet you.

Jennifer grew up in the historic town of Madison in southern Indiana. Jennifer's family always had Real Estate interests. Both her father and grandmother own multiple properties she helped maintain while growing up and her uncle owns a successful Real Estate firm across the river in Nicholasville Kentucky. It was in her blood.
RE/MAX MountainView was a new firm in Gainesville, Virginia and Jennifer was hired as the receptionist. It quickly became apparent she had ambitions and talents well beyond answering telephones. She moved on to bookkeeping and agent hand holding and then to Office Administrative Manager. She earned her Real Estate license in 2001 and began dealing with clients and customers first hand. It was into xicating.
The Real Estate office was sold in 2008 and Jennifer moved to Cincinnati and began working as a Realtor
It's not all work in Cincinnati. There is a new baseball team to root for. There is her daughter's new school to volunteer at. And she is a Field and Suicide Prevention Advocate with the American Foundation for Suicide Prevention where she is very active, volunteering and participating in fund-raising events throughout and the annual trip to Capitol Hill to further the cause.
First and foremost, after family, is client care. Jennifer loves Real Estate. She treats her clients like family, guiding them and helping them to make wise decisions and smoothing all the bumps in the road to home ownership. She says, "The best feeling is seeing their smiling faces when they receive the keys to their new homes."
